Submissions should fit into one or more of the following three categories: 'Identity', 'Resilience', and/or 'Fur'. Art in the 'Identity' category should embrace some facet of selfhood, self-development, or personality. The 'Resilience' category embodies strength, recovery, and persistence. Finally, the 'Fur' category is the critter component of the SBF gallery for all things animals. Submissions can be abstract interpretations of these categories, so long as you explain that interpretation in the application below.

In addition to the above application, please email your artwork to capshawm@survivorsbestfriend.org. Submissions should be in JPG or JPEG format. For candidates to be considered for the SBF Artist Fellowship, they must submit a minimum of five separate pieces. If selected, Fellows choose a minimum of three out of the five submitted pieces to donate to SBF's charity art auction. Applicants are automatically considered for a spot in our ongoing charity art auction on an individual piece basis. Fellows and their portfolios will proudly be displayed on our website.
